SMTP errors

Hi!

I'm getting the following error from Plausible when trying to restore my password. I'm using Mailgun as sender and they support STARTTLS. Here's my environment variables.

The error is :retries_exceeded

Almost identical issue, however I don't get the full error above (at least not in the docker-compose logs), I just get the 500 in the browser and:

Did you manage to solve it?

I had this same issue. Change SMTP_HOST_SSL_ENABLED=true to SMTP_HOST_SSL_ENABLED=false. It's a bit counter-intuitive. But you want the SMTP client to use TLS not SSL.

Wow this actually worked! Thank you. This should definitely be changed to something like SMTP_HOST_TLS_ENABLED=true as a default value for TLS and SMTP_HOST_TLS_ENABLED=false for old SSL.
