To start using HeyRepo, you'll need Node.js version 16 or above installed on your system. If you don't have Node.js installed, download and install it from the official website.

You can run HeyRepo directly using npx without installing it globally:

npx heyrepo-cli please list all TODOs in my project

Alternatively, if you prefer having it installed on your system, you can do so globally via npm:

npm install -g heyrepo-cli

After the installation, you can run it using:

heyrepo please list all TODOs in my project

HeyRepo supports maintaining your conversational context in sessions. This allows for a more interactive experience, letting you give follow-up commands without repeating the context.

Here's an example of continuing an existing session:

# Start a new task to list all the TODO comments in the project
heyrepo please find all TODO comments

# Continue the session to refine your request further
heyrepo on the same topic, show me only the ones assigned to me
