A very aggressive Martingale EA was acquired and I like the strategy that this EA was using but the original developer didn't include much thought in Risk Management specifically lots size and margin level detection that scales as the equity and leverage changes. I implemented 4xlots web service, initially using the new WebRequest method but than falling back on the wininet library. Over the last month, I discovered issues that could potentially wipe out the account and did which is why you see extra deposits, and these changes are included in the source code at https://github.com/patrickingle/4xlots-extra/.
My development methodology is to test as if I am trading with real money, that is start with an actual deposit amount. When test results are satisfactory, live testing proceeds.
