Some airports in Indian union territories were either listed under former or nearby states. I noticed that others such as VOPB (Vir Savarkar International Airport) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are already listed under their correct union territories in the state field. Thus there is a precedence that union territories should be used in the state field. I corrected the state to the correct union territory for the examples I found.

Explanations:

  1. VA1P (Diu Airport): Listed in nearby state of Gujarat when it's in the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu union territory founded in 2020
  2. VADN (Daman Airport): Daman and Diu merged to form the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu union territory in 2020.
  3. VI57 (Thoise Airport), VI65 (Kargil Airport), VI66 (Fukche Advanced Landing Ground), VILH (Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport): All four airports are in the newly formed (2019) union territory of Ladakh that was split from Jammu and Kashmir.
  4. VOGA (Manohar International Airport): New airport that opened in late 2022.
  5. VOGO (Dabolim Airport): Dabolim is the name of the city and the correct state is Goa.
  6. VOPC (Pondicherry Airport): Located within the union territory of Puducherry.
