How to compile, debug or package in China

1. vscode-jupyter: release-2023.09
2. vscode: 1.82.3

then, I open the source in dev-container; folow by the doc https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-jupyter/blob/release/release-2023.09/CONTRIBUTING.md .

• When I run 'npm ci', it gets stuck while fetching the rajx-compact package.

• I tried using yarn install, but when I run npm run compile, it shows that the react package cannot be found.
• When configuring the npm mirror, npm ci gets stuck on another package.

I really have no idea now

I solve it by downgrade the npm version to 6.x
