Insurance continues to be an essential part of everyone's lives but yet still remains one of the most complex issues to understand for people of all ages. Our group aims to tackle this problem by first of all being a one-stop platform for insurance purchase, aggregating all providers and merchants globally. SafeZen allows you to make a one-time purchase for policies across different categories and also the ability to ONLY PAY when you NEED it. Activate your policies just before your flight or right before your long road trip and deactivate them when you have safely arrived. Say goodbye to traditional paper works and physical signatures, each policy is minted on the Polygon blockchain as an on-chain ERC721-compliant NFT making them tamper-proof and never lost. Submit your claims in a few clicks and upload your verifying documents which will be stored on IPFS, instead of having your claims validated by a single agent/company, SafeZen DAO will have decentralized voting on each claim submitted. The amount that you pay for your policy purchases will also be automatically staked and generate yield while you're protected.
We have decided to make use of Polygon as our blockchain of choice because of its scalability as a Layer-2 solution to Ethereum, we understand that insurance is a necessity and it is only a matter of time that we see large volumes of transactions taking place through our smart contracts. Walletconnect and Coinbase wallet gave us the flexibility of interfacing through different mediums with our potential users, allowing us to gain adoption with less friction in the future. IPFS allows us to store necessary documents online and be transparent with the voting procedure on insurance claims. More importantly, one of the key features of our product will not have been possible without Superfluid's technology which has allowed us to revolutionise how insurance payments can be made. Being able to pay by the second as you activate the policy made so much sense to us and we think that this not only saves cost for the users but also keeps them aware and sensitive of their coverage.

The project was submitted as part of ETHAmsterdam 2022 organized by ETHGlobal. Our group identified a key problem with NFTs and it is the struggle for teams to provide utilities. A fully digital metaverse is not here yet and people will always still seek comfort in tangible real world utilities. Today, we have millions of brands and services out there looking for consumers but there is no easy way for them to tap on the users and liquidity accumulated in the NFT ecosystem.
Bigger brands like Nike and Adidas have the purchasing power to acquire successful NFT collections but what about the 99% of merchants out there?
Over the 36-hours hackathon, my team prototyped a which platform serves as a Discovery Reward platform for users and a one-stop platform for merchants to kickstart nft reward campaigns. Onboarding web2 users and merchants is seamless with the use of technologies like web3Auth and walletConnect.

Smart Contract for a crowdfunding Dapp that removes the need for middleman commissions charged by traditional web2 applications.
Users are able to create crowdfund campaigns and also contribute to existing campaigns. To prevent malicious actors, the raised funds are stored in the smart contract and released based on a decentralized voting system for each spending request. The backend is based entirely on Smart Contract storage and the frontend is built using React and Next, hosted on Vercel.
Co-founder and blockchain developer for ShogunSamurais. Created ERC721 Smart Contract for the sale of 8888 ShogunSamurais. Project achieved an 84% sell out generating ~2M USD in revenue (based on Ethereum price).
Images and metadata were randomly generated using Node.js scripts and hosted on IPFS (nft storage).
In order to boost our utility ecosystem, our team introduced the $SHO token. Holders were able to stake their ShogunSamurai NFTs and generate $SHO tokens based on the NFTs that they were holding. Different combinations of guilds from the ShogunSamurais will allow for different rate of yields. We also introduced a Shogun Medallion which was airdropped on Polygon to all early holders (first 4444) which allows them to further boost their yield rates from staking.
