flashbin

flashbin - dump/restore emmc or nand flash data to/from flash.bin

Usage:

flashbin [binname] [dump/restore] [valid] [partitionname]

Comments:

  • [valid] has effect on flash.bin when dump flash with the last partition:
    • when valid=1, only dump the last partition's valid data.
    • when valid=0, dump the last partition's entire data.
  • when dump flash without the last partition or restore flash, [valid] has no effect whether 1 or 0.
  • [partitionname] is a optional parameter, default is the whole flash without [partitionname].
  • when dump flash, flash.bin should be saved as ntfs3g/exfat supported file.
    • when restore flash, flash.bin should be stored in a usb storage device with ntfs/exfat format.

force_overwrite

force_overwrite - This serial apis are for force write and re-create partitions.

This cmd is used to register which partition should force overwrite

Usage:

force_overwrite [partition name]

get_mmap - get memory info from supernova's mmap
