Growl notifications for friends and custom search terms.

After installing you can go to the Growl preferences panel (open /Library/PreferencePanes/Growl.prefPane), click on Applications, select TwitterGrowl then Notifications to customize the appearance of Search tweets and Friend tweets.

1. Install RubyCocoa. http:https://www.rubycocoa.com/an-introduction-to-rubycocoa/3 has good instructions.
2. Install the growl notifier gem: sudo gem install growlnotifier.
3. Create a config.yml file based on config.yml.sample and update it with your Twitter username and password.
4. To run the script at startup create a twitter_growl.plist file based on twitter_growl.plist.sample, copy the file to the ~/Library/LaunchAgents/ directory then restart your machine.
