By looking at discussion I was able to create an docker image that I used to deploy kcal with docker compose and use NGINX Proxy Manager for TLS/SSL Certificate.

I did some addition changes in repo and was able to spin up kcal. Please make some additional changes to the .env file in repo and update dockerhub accordingly.

I really appreciate this piece of free software, thank you for sharing it with the world! ❤️

I will close issue as well.

This is not possible as this adds a bug where you cannot add or change foods etc. via the gui. I have no idea why thats the case.

Edit: I figured out that for whatever reason the buttons appear to be transparent. If anyone know what might cause this please respond. I for myself solved the HTTPS issue as I will just make the text of the button black so its not transparent anymore but please look at this problem as other people dont run into this as well!
