The course deals with programming techniques for parallel systems and more specific systems that integrate multiple computing cores within a processing unit (multicores and many applications). It concerns the planning of conventional and non-conventional, homogeneous and heterogeneous parallel architects.Introduction to performance measurement techniques, profiling, experimental evaluation of software interaction with underlying hardware and optimization.
