The Dover App is a useful app for viewing anything related to Dover Area School District. It allows you to check the school's website, lunch menu, calendar, and more. Using it, you may stay up to date involving any Dover activities, like sports. It works across all schools, so you don't have to worry about being restricted. This is an end-of-the-year project for DASD's Computer Science A course.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.
What things you need to install the software and how to install them: First, you'll need a github account. Second, you'll need an application for editing java code, such as Andriod Studio.
In order to install the program, you'll need to clone the project from GitHub. Alternatively, you could download the program as a ZIP file. Next, open Android Studio or your selected java editing program. Navigate to the "Open Android Project" prompt or whatever will provide a similar opening operation. Select the Dover App's file, and click "Open" Once the project has finished opening, you're finished the installation process. You can either view the code or click the "Run" button (or its equivelant) to view the app as it is. If ran, you should be brought to a homepage with the Dover logo and a toolbar along the top.

If you're not using Android Studio, you may have to look online for a method to build and run the application.
