#NOTE:  LANforge build is fully automatic now.  Just run 'make_all' as
#usual, VOCAL will be built as needed.

  ./configure --with-shared-libs --with-lanforge

To enable a more optimized build with LANforge and g729 support,
try this configure instead.
  ./configure --with-shared-libs --with-lanforge  --with-compile-type=gopt \
              --with-optimize-level=2 --with-voiceage

For each LANforge endpoint machine, we will have one marshal server to
handle the SIP messaging.  The bulk of the VOCAL daemons will run on the
manager machine, or possibly a separate machine altogether.  The SIP
messaging will run over the management network by default, but the RTP will
go over the LANforge interfaces (and the DUT).  There is nothing magic about
this:  With the proper network config, the VOCAL daemons can also be in
the middle of the DUT.

To set up each LANforge endpoint machine:

Create the server(s) with the VOCAL provisioning GUI in the first/main vocal install.
Tar up the entire vocal tree
un-tar on the client machine
Copy/create the vocal.secrets file, the perms won't allow it to be tarred (currently)
Edit the vocal/etc/vocal.conf file to set the LOCALIP correctly.
 (Change nothing else)
Copy over the libpq.so.* libraries if they are not on the client machine already.
Start VOCAL with:  "vocalctl start"

When setting up LANforge VOIP endpoints, the SIP proxy will be the management interface,
in this case.


# How to generate files that can be replayed as voice equivalents:

sox graceland.ogg -U -c 1 -b -v 1.1 -r 8000 /tmp/graceland.wav resample -q1

# graceland.ogg == input file, can be almost any type of sound file.
# -U      == ulaw encoding
# -c 1    == one channel
# -b      == 1-byte encoding (8-bit)
# -v 1.1  == increase volume by 1.1/1.0 percent, optional
# -r 8000 == 8000 samples per second.
# /tmp/graceland.wav  == output file, has to be a .wav extension.
# resample -q1        == makes it sound better, evidently, I can't tell.
