Describe the bug

Hugo throws an error when dateFormat parameter is not set.

Steps to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use theme version < v1.10 to create a website
  2. Upgrade theme version
  3. Run hugo server
  4. See error

Expected behavior

Some default date formatting should be in place so, that no error is thrown when dateFormat parameter is not set.
