This Project was carried out for educational purpose, it’s main objective is to visualize an arc diagram by reading the nodes links from a text file. After visualizing the diagram, the nodes are then ordered in a way that ensures that the height of the whole diagram is as short as possible.

Open arc_diagram.pde as a Processing sketch and run it.

The file nodes.txt is written in the following format:

<node_id>:<neighbor_node_id1>,<neighbor_node_id2>

where node_id is the ID of the node to which we want to define its neighbor nodes, and neighbor_node_idx is the ID of the neighbor node. When multiple neighbor nodes are defined, they should be separated with commas.
