Hello together,

We've updated our Openshift Cluster to version 4.8.13 and now we got following warning for the Operator "operator-lifecycle-manager":

Cluster operator operator-lifecycle-manager cannot be upgraded between minor versions: "namespace/grafana-operator.v3.10.3 is incompatible with OpenShift minor versions greater than 4.8"

Is there any timeline when Openshift 4.8.* will be supported?

Regards
Tobias

@burkhat we're hoping to resolve this with the v3.10.4 release, which is currently pending a release on OperatorHub. Once that is merged we will release it to the OpenShfit Operator catalog.

However I wonder why it failed on 4.8.13?

@pb82 Thanks for your reply.

It doesn't failed, the GPU Operator works without any problem at the moment, we only got the warning message that it is incompatible with Openshift 4.8

Ah, understand. Yes, this is something we will address in v3.10.4: all CRDs and secondary resources are update from v1beta to v1 to support OS 4.9+ and Kube 1.22+

Ok thanks for the hint, but at the moment we have no problem to upgrade our clusters to version 4.8.x only with 4.9.x it doesn't work because of the CRDs api resources.

I will close this issue since it's a duplicate of #552
We are currently trying to solve k8s-operatorhub/community-operators#265 and when it gets done we will have a 3.10.4 release out.
