coastlib is a Python library dedicated to solving problems related to the discipline of coastal engineering, such as data collection (NOAA NCEI, WAVEWATCH III, etc.), extreme value analysis (EVA), data analysis and visualization, wave theories, and many more.

This is the first production-ready release of the library. Though not all tools are operational and documented, the following modules are fully validated, tested, and ready for real-world applications:
