When I search using the Date Range and then try to reset the search by pressing 'Clear' at the bottom of the page, only the End Date cleared.

The Start Date retained the date I'd entered previously.

I am using mac/firefox:
none of the things (GO term, contributor, model title...) i put in the search panel were cleared after I pressing 'Clear' at the bottom of the page, but it did clear "Filtered By:" of the results panel on the right.

Just tested and seems to be fixed on noctua-dev.

However there is still an issue @tmushayahama:

  • add a term (eg apoptotic process)
  • add a date range
  • change the term

This will remove the previously given date range. @vanaukenk not a high priority and this bug could actually also avoid users not finding their results by forgetting they put a date range. I see pros & cons to that but it wasn't by intent.

@tmushayahama after our meeting: when clicking a date in the date picker, this should automatically be added to the field as a badge... it's counter intuitive to expect a user to have to press enter after selecting the date.
