GO:0140423 effector-mediated suppression of pattern-triggered immunity signaling
Biological Process

Definition (GO:0140423 GONUTS page)
A process mediated by a molecule secreted by a symbiont that results in the suppression of a pattern-triggered immunity PTI signaling pathway. PTI signaling pathways are found in plants. PMID:30584105

should be a descendant of
GO:0052034 suppression by symbiont of microbe-associated molecular pattern-induced host innate immune response
Definition (GO:0052034 GONUTS page)
Any process that involves recognition of a microbe-associated molecular pattern, and by which a symbiont stops, prevents, or reduces the frequency, rate or extent of the innate immune response of the host organism; the innate immune response is the host's first line of defense against infection. The host is defined as the larger of the organisms involved in a symbiotic interaction.

But we need to standardize. The GO:0052034 definition is not correct.
PTI is the first response, but the innate immune response is broader than PTI.

In all my searching for "pattern-triggered immunity" I never found this term before.

@pgaudet I can do this when we speak so that we revise the definitions to standardize and add liberal synonyms.

I actually wonder if there is any "non-effector mediated suppression?" Maybe plant viruses
