Not sure we can do anything further with this list, unless we want to make xps that use anatomical parts for

GO:1990079 ! cartilage homeostasis
GO:0001895 ! retina homeostasis
GO:0001894 ! tissue homeostasis

Is homeostasis really the right term for these? Would the word 'maintenance' be more appropriate? The definition seems quite awkward. tissue homeostasis = "A homeostatic process involved in the maintenance of an internal steady state within a defined tissue of an organism, including control of cellular proliferation and death and control of metabolic function. "

What does that mean?

How about renaming 'tissue homeostasis' as 'tissue maintenance' (currently a synonym) and moving the term up one level to be direct child of 'multicellular organismal process?'

There are some child terms of 'tissue homeostasis' that could definitely go under 'multicellular organismal homeostasis' as well, but not all of them.

See geneontology/design_patterns#3

But - think the concept of homeostatis covered by most of these terms is likely to much broader than that discussed in the design pattern ticket.

renaming 'tissue homeostasis' to 'tissue maintenance' sounds like a good idea to me.
The cell terms could be changed to 'maintenance of cell number'

The chemical terms might be more amenable to the approach in the design pattern.

I suspect that 'GO:0060086 ! circadian temperature homeostasis' refers to the circadian regulation of body temperature homeostatic level.
