Somente algumas tentativas iniciais para calcular índices de competição entre árvores durante meu mestrado em 2018. Incluí uns dados de exemplo baseados em uma amostragem dos dados originais utilizados.

Os principais índices calculados foram Hegyi, Glover & Hool, BAL, Martin & Ek, uma abordagem de diferenças de Tomé & Burkhart (1989), e Área Potencialmente Disponível baseada em polígonos de Voronoi. Também testei o efeito do raio de inclusão de competidores, por meio de um script pouco eficiente.

Just some earlier attemps to calculate competition indices between trees during my master's in 2018. I've included some fake data based on a sample from the original data.

The main competition indices calculated were Hegyi, Glover & Hool, BAL, Martin & Ek, the size-difference approach of Tomé & Burkhart (1989), and an Area Potentially Available based on Voronoi polygons. I have also tested the effect of distance from the target tree, in a very inefficient and time-consuming way though. All comments are in Portuguese.
