Hello, there! Thank you very much for downloading my entry for the 2-Buttons Jam, Yukon Escape! I hope you enjoy the game!

What is this game?
Yukon Escape is a sidescroller game where you try to dodge obstacles and try to survive as long as possible. It is set in the Yukon mountains where an avalanche is hurtling towards you, launching debris and generating unstable tectonics! Try to dodge all of them...or you can be a daredevil and try to get points by narrowly missing them!

- Made the code prettier to look at
- Made the intro to menu transition much more smoother
- Added "new hi-score" notice to the game over screen if the player surpasses their hi-score

- Changed the pacing of the game so that it is more forgiving for new players

- Changed the player's color from blue to red to distinguish it more from the terrain
- Added shadows where the debris would fall

- Changed the spawning rate of the obstacles so that the action starts sooner.
- Increased the reward for near misses from 5 points to 8 points.
