I am a Disaster Risk Reduction specialist and Civil Engineer with focus on the study of Natural Hazards and Risk changes under scenarios such as Climate Change and population growth.

Some of my areas of interest are the modelling of landslides, flooding, hyper-concentrated phenomena (e.g. Debris-Flow) and the study of their interaction with the build environment and critical infrastructure to estimate potential consequences and recommend prevention/mitigation/adaptation measures. This activities supported on Environmental modeling, Remote sensing, Geographic Information Science (GIS), Geotechnical analysis(Finite elements Analysis) and exploratory cost benefit analysis.
