bell-syntax is a Visual Studio Code extension that provides basic intellisense, formatting, and syntax highlighting support for the bell programming language.

bell (bach evaluation language for lllls) is a text-based programming language developed by Andrea Agostini and Jean-Louis Giavitto for the bach library in MaxMSP. To learn more, please read its introductory publication:

To install:

1. Open VS Code and go to View/Extensions in the main menu.
2. Search for bell syntax and you should see the extension at, or near the top of the search results.
3. Click on the install button. Once the installation is complete, you may need to reload the window to see the extension take effect.
