AGS allows user-made "Plugins" to be incorporated into games created by the system. These Plugins can access all standard Windows functionality and are therefore not protected from system functions as the scripting language is. Neither Chris Jones nor any of the contributors can be held responsible for any Plugins for AGS which you use in your game. Any problems with the Plugin should be addressed to its author.

TrueType font display uses ALFont by Javier Gonzalez and the FreeType project. Distributed under the terms of the FreeType Project license.

OGG Theora player is APEG originally by Chris Robinson, using the Ogg Theora decoder and Ogg Vorbis, which is Copyright (C) Xiph.Org Foundation and contributors.

Audio decoding is SDL Sound, and mixing is MojoAL, both by Ryan C. Gordon, both distributed under the terms of the zlib License. SDL Sound MIDI decoding incorporates Timidity source code, which is dual-licensed under the Perl Artistic License or GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1.

Backend of Audio, Graphics, input and additional systems is SDL2, by Sam Lantinga, and is distributed under the terms of the zlib License.

Partial code from Allegro 4 is included for bitmap and text manipulation. Allegro4 is provided by The giftware license, created by a number of people working in cooperation, and given freely as a gift.

Deflate compression algorithm for sprites and any other game data is performed using Miniz compression library, which is Copyright (C) 2013-2014 RAD Game Tools and Valve Software and (C) 2010-2014 Rich Geldreich and Tenacious Software LLC, distributed under the terms of the MIT License.
