This guide will walkthrough on how to start your own r2cloud base station.

Go to the Bill-of-materials page and get the required components.

Go to the README and check "Installation" section. After installation completes, r2cloud needs to be configured.

Run everything together for couple of days and check results. Observations are scheduled automatically, you can select the required satellites from the list:

If everything runs smoothly, then there is something else can be done:

• Test additional combination of hardware/software.
• Tune SDR parameters
• Improve reception rate
• Share the data with the rest of the world
• Consider adding rotator
• Use solar panels and optimise power consumption
• Help tracking just launched satellites
• Use presentation mode to show how satellites are tracked, what data can be received &etc
• Build custom integrations and applications using REST API

• Contribute to r2cloud project. There are a lot of satellites needed by the community. You can help the project by writing corresponding decoders
• Check the issue tracker for any open issues and fix them.
• Improve demodulators and the decoding rate
