Can't install the MSFS2020-Map-Enhancement-Setup-7.6.1 exe on my windows 11 computer

All I get is "the blue ring" for 2-3 seconds and then nothing. I've tried to restart the computer but got the same result.
I've had an older version of the Map Enhancment installed on my computer from almost a year ago but 've unistalled it today and desided to get the latest version, but now i can't even start a new install.
I've uninstalled the old version with Revo Unistaller, and made shure that all entries in the windows register Where cleaned before I tried to intall the 7.6.1 EXE-version
Any tips please 😊

Same happening here. Went all the way down to version 7.5.3 and the same is happening. The setup wont open in Windows 11

What I ment was just the indication that Windows was breafly processing my clicking on the .exe file. But then nothing happens. I've no problem executing .exe files for other program. Could you check if the core.exe exist in the task manager? Or in the tray area (right corner of the taksbar)

Hi! I just recorded a video about it. Nothing happens when double clicking the installer, either executing it by admin or just double clicking. I recently made a reinstall of Windows, maybe in my particular case I'm missing some dependencies and that is what causing it to fail.

My build info:

I don't know why the setup can't be opened. Maybe your system is lack of something?

Same issue here, the old version from flightsim.to(7.5.3) works. However, the new one won't open.

Finally got it working! I ran it through PowerShell. I don't know what changes, but this opened the installer.

1. Open PowerShell as Administrator
2. Change the directory to the place where you have donwloaded the installer

Set-Location -Path C:\Users\Path\To\File

3. Run it!

.\MSFS2020-Map-Enhancement-Setup-7.6.2.exe

That worked for me!

Hi all

Until then Map enhancement was working wonderfully and at one point it told me that the version is too old to work, so I wanted to upgrade to the latest version 7.6.2 and impossible to install it, the installation starts but at some point crashes with this error message. Since then I have been looking but nothing to do, if you have a precise procedure to tell me please? I'm a taker. I miss google earth maps, bing it's much less beautiful I think??
