Summary

In this PR we set up the search select feature on the frontend. This will allow you to search, select, and edit entities in bulk. The backend is still a WIP and thus all bulk actions are disabled (commented out) in this PR.

Possibly - But I'm not sure the two are strictly equivalent... For example, the stats tab merges a few things already

usually in ts you just say string[] for arrays. that's probably why you're seeing a lint warning. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/36842158/arraytype-vs-type-in-typescript

It's because this functionality is not yet accessible / fully implemented. Working on the backend APIs then coming back!

so will checkboxes appear in the search results page itself? or is this tracking state for a modal that opens? If its tracking state for a modal, we should just have the modal track that state

So yeah the check boxes appear in the search result list items... Then when you select an item we update the global state at this parent level so that the header check box and action list is also in sync!

it would be great to track these events with the datahub analytics lib so admins can know how often bulk edits are happening!

Yes agree! Not completely implemented yet - Once we have the APIs I'll include those tracking events
