Hi there 👋

Christopher Torrington

Currently working as a Software Engineer at Xander Talent & consulting for Quantexa! In my own time I am working on my UmbrellaRL ☂️ python package & am getting really absorbed into the design process for that. (Please reach out if you see any way to improve upon it!)

  • Be Free Campaign
    Developed web crawlers for mental health charity to aid with their client discovery. Scraped as much data as possible & fed it into their SalesForce client outreach pipeline (after making that).
  • Various Xander Talent Academy Projects

University Experience

• Strong foundation in key computer science concepts such as data structures, advanced algorithms, and programming languages (Python, Java, R)
• Specialised coursework in mathematical modelling, optimisation techniques, graph theory, and software engineering.
• Completed a dissertation project investigating the ability of a reinforcement learning agent to improve upon the container loading problem.
