confirmed that this is only a vmware issue, and fixed in 22476fb . i'm going to let this bake a bit before cutting a new release. |

This might only be an issue under VMWare Fusion. I could fix it by configuring unfs to allow any IP in the private subnet, but I'd rather find out why the IP is changing. My theory is that udhcpc is periodically renewing in the background for each interface, and VMW is sending it a new IP. Maybe we should just kill udhcpc for this interface?
