This project is an educational tool for model inference and model development in ecology. The best way to use this software is by going to < https://bradduthie.shinyapps.io/EcoEdu/ >, which includes an easy to use interface that can be run directly from a web browswer.

The code underlying the software is presented here in two versions. The first version includes all of the code needed to run the easy to use interface locally within a browser ( Server.R and ui.r ). The second version is a simplified version of only the individual-based-model, with annotated code that can be used and explored directly in the R console.

The file LabPractical.Rmd provides instructions for using the browser interface, and walks through key examples with questions relevant to ecological modelling. A web version of this can be found at < http:https://bradduthie.github.io/BI4803_LabPractical.html >, and there is a PDF also located within this repository.
