Install with easy_install --user . or with pip install .. (Install easy_install with pip install setuptools or by installing the python-setuptools package.)

Test with pygmentize -F kwrenamefilter test.v.

To use with minted, you need the version from git if you want output in utf8.

You can test xelatex with the file test_tex.tex, compiled using xelatex --shell-escape test_tex. The file test_pdftex.tex shows an example for pdflatex, to be compiled with pdflatex --shell-escape test_pdftex.
