Frigate was working perfect for 3 days and now camera feeds are timing out #9090
-
Hey everyone. I have running the official ix Frigate app on TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.1 so I had everything working great, video was coming in on all cameras and recording and doing motion detection. This morning I went to look at the system as I was still tweaking some settings and now all my cameras feeds are saying "No frames have been received, please check error log" I have tried restarting the service on the Frigate app but only rebooting the service form TrueNAS app page seems to bring the cameras back. I cant figure out why it would loose connection to all my cameras at once. Curious as I can see this happens to others also but there seems to be no solution to this so I am just adding that it is happening to me also. Any help would be appreciated I cannot seem to get the old logs as once i rebooted the service the logs page only shows logs since the last service start here is a copy of my config with username and password : out ` detectors: ffmpeg: detect: record: snapshots: birdseye: cameras: Deck: Driveway: HouseFront: Baby: |

Thanks for the response.. Yes they are timing out. I was able to get that from the logs but how is this possible that they work fine for 3 days and now all of a sudden they are timing out. They are eufy cameras and they work perfectly fine with the app and on my Synology box. I can also open these streams on VLC with no issues I need to know why they are timing out all of a sudden when nothing has changed. and all my cameras all of a sudden. seems like a frigate bug or setting not my cameras or network. |

So it makes no sense that he Cameras page shows errors but then i can click on a camera and it will show it.. its all over the place and makes no sense why I am getting these errors. Again this was working with no issues for the last 3 days. I comments out my config anythign extra and same issue.. I am using Eufy cameras if that matters |

Well it was a frigate issue and NOT a time out issue.. It turns out that the cache was set to 16MB and it should have been 256MB based on the calculation page. After I rebuilt the server from scratch this solved it with the exact same config. So not a wifi or connection issue, frigate configuration issue so far that I can tell.
All the cameras were working from VLC and could view stream on each camera for like 30 min.
