Are you running a Synology device? In 0.14, Frigate attempts to detect a hardware acceleration device. You don't have hardware acceleration enabled in your config (https://deploy-preview-11419--frigate-docs.netlify.app/configuration/hardware_acceleration) - this is highly recommended. This log message is just a result of polling for a hardware acceleration device. |

Tried your suggestions: message keeps appearing in log. Regarding hardware acceleration: I was under the impression that Frigate's autodetection made the ffmpeg: entry unnecessary that, and that it is unusable in Synology anyway. Adding

This error is expected if running Synology because they block access for Frigate to be able to read GPU stats
