[Config Support]: config file not found after upgrading from 0.13 to 0.14

Describe the problem you are having

I am running a linux system using docker compose. I wanted to try the new version of frigate so i stopped my current container and run these command to update the version.

docker compose pull
docker compose up -d

noticed i was getting a docker error and eventually the container doesnt start. I didnt make any changes to my config file location or the docker-compose.yml file, but for some reason the new version can't find the config file.

Here is my location of my config file

Am i missing something obvious? I am not sure why it wont find the config file. I even tried moving the config file into different folders to test and it never finds the config file. Thoughts?

The docker compose config is incorrect. You're napping a config.yml file to the entire /config directory

i took off the slash on the end of the config like above and still get the same error.

As Nick said, you're mapping a file to a directory. You need to map the directory containing that file to the config directory in the container.

/home/frigate_user/frigate_docker:/config is the change needed

ok, thank you. that fixed it. I see where i my made mistake. I looked at version 14 breaking changes and never found the docker compose changes noted in the logs so I was confused why it wouldn't work... Now i realize I realize those breaking changes were part of 13.2 release. I should of gone back farther than version 14. Thanks again for the help. Keep up the good work. Frigate is an amazing software!
