Read binary output data files (such as restart files) from Schlumberger's reservoir simulators, such as Eclipse, Intersect, and Visage.
Got inspired from this project.
Call contructor by passing the file name path, for example READ_ECL("2D_model.INIT")
. Then, you can have an access to a struct, called SLB_DATA
, containing all data from the binary file specified by "filename" string. Note that the string and number formats are separated to HEADER
and DATA
variables, respectively. Please have a look at test file to see more examples.
The test samples took 387 [ms] to be read using MinGW 64-bit, while it took 1061 [ms] in MATLAB with using the same machine
If you are a fan of Python language, make sure to activate the BUILD_PY_LIBS
option during configuration with CMake. Then in the build path, you will find .pyd librrary that needs to be next to your python script in order to import it.
NOTE: make sure you have downloaded Pybind11 library and place it in 3rdParty folder.
