Hotfix (June 1, 2024): Fixed broken AMD Overlay and Hotkeys (like Alt+Z, Ctrl+Shift+O, etc.).

Known Issues:

  • AMD Overlay's FPS & Frame Time reading do not work. The fix is ready and will be released later on as a hotfix. Please rely on Xbox Game Bar for the time being.
  • Media & Capture (Record & Stream) functions Take a Screenshot, Record a Video, Instant Replay, Instant GIF do not work for games and desktop.

Note

Recommended release, unless you need D3D12 Enhanced Barriers support to run the game (e.g. Forza Motorsport error code AP205). Use release 23.9.3 and later to get D3D12 Enhanced Barriers support.

Important

You need to have AMD External Events Utility service running to get AMD Overlay's FPS readings. The Cleanup.bat file sets AMD External Events Utility service to Manual instead of Automatic. So make sure to set AMD External Events Utility service back to Automatic and Start it if you used Cleanup.bat and need AMD Overlay's FPS readings.

Hotfix (May 1, 2024): OpenGL and Direct3D-related tweaks provided by BootCampDrivers.com were removed from driver INF file since extensive benchmarking showed tweaks hinder performance of AMD Radeon Pro 5600M in DirectX 12 games (e.g. Resident Evil 2, Forza Horizon 5). Since digitally signed INF cannot be modified without breaking the digital signature, tweaks are preserved in such file. Further releases will not feature BootCampDrivers.com's OpenGL and Direct3D-related tweaks.

Known Issues:

  • Media & Capture (Record & Stream) functions Record a Video, Instant Replay, Instant GIF do not work for games and desktop. The fix is ready and will be released later on as a hotfix to this release.
