@absternator thanks for this – can you also bump the version in PopPUNK/__init__.py and we'll make a new release with this change?

This PR writes qc failiures to qcreport.txt when running poppunk-assign.
Reasoning: Beebop needs these failures so better errors can be displayed to the users.
