Spring Boot with JWT and H2 example


Dependency

– If you want to use PostgreSQL:

<dependency>
  <groupId>org.postgresql</groupId>
  <artifactId>postgresql</artifactId>
  <scope>runtime</scope>
</dependency>

– or MySQL:

Configure Spring Datasource, JPA, App properties

Open src/main/resources/application.properties

  • For PostgreSQL:
spring.datasource.url= jdbc:postgresql:https://localhost:5432/testdb
spring.datasource.username= postgres
spring.datasource.password= 123

spring.jpa.properties.hibernate.jdbc.lob.non_contextual_creation= true
spring.jpa.properties.hibernate.dialect= org.hibernate.dialect.PostgreSQLDialect

# Hibernate ddl auto (create, create-drop, validate, update)
spring.jpa.hibernate.ddl-auto= update

# App Properties
storm.app.jwtCookieName= stormcode
storm.app.jwtSecret= stormCodeSecretKey
storm.app.jwtExpirationMs= 86400000
  • For MySQL
spring.datasource.url= jdbc:mysql:https://localhost:3306/testdb?useSSL=false
spring.datasource.username= root
spring.datasource.password= 123456

Run Spring Boot application
