     Smart Contracts are not in anyway a new innovation or invention. Been around since the early 1990s, Smart Contracts only became relatively main stream in the late 2000s. With the era of Web3, cryptography, cryptocurrencies and decentralization, smart contracts present a unuique and quite an exciting prospects to the future.

     So what exactly are smart contracts? I could go on to give you the dictionary definition, but let's be serious, you are not interested

   in that. In the simplest terms, a Smart Contract is a piece of computer program or code that is stored in a blockchain and holds the rules for two or more parties(afterall, it is a contract). What does this idea or foreign concept have to do with Kidney transplant? would a compuer program that store rules now perform life changing operations and save tonnes of agrieved patients?
