Akshat's uncle was getting his company's website developed by a huge firm. The firm charged him lakhs of rupees for development and later told him that they wouldn't maintain the project or make changes unless he paid a hefty sum for maintenance.
Being web developers ourselves, we decided to make something to make it easy for anyone facing such issues.
EzEdit makes it easy to modify existing websites online without code and publish the changes to be reflected to everyone.

This is a Google Chrome extension and hence you will require the Chrome browser.
- Open Google Chrome.
- Clone this repository and keep the
extension
folder aside. - Load the unpacked extension folder by following this simple guide.
- Turn the extension on and pin it.
- Follow the steps above to download the extension.
- Click on the extension's icon in the pinned extensions section while browsing a site of your choice.
- Click on the
EzEdit Now
button and start editing the UI of the website directly including text, images, positioning, etc. - After all required enhancements are done, enter your GitHub Personal Access Token to sign in to GitHub and get the necessary push permissions. If you don't know how to create an access token, you can refer this link.
- Once you are signed in, you can enter a GitHub repository's link in the last field and click on submit.
- Wait for a few minutes and explore the resultant GitHub pages site as a modified version of the old site.
