The-Stolen-Map

A map highlighting disputed artifacts in museums around the world.


Contribute

To add a museum or artifact, gather the following data:

  • Name (name)
  • Image (image)
  • Description (description)
  • Coordinates (coordinates)

If you are not familiar with editing JSON files, just submit a new issue requesting the change.

Editorial Guidelines

Description

The description should deliver general information about the item itself and its disputes and why it is of interest to archaeologists. Please be objective and do not include any personal opinions in it.

Images

The image object should contain a link o the image itself, its license, the name of its photographer and a link to their website if possible. Please make sure that the image is allowed to be used in this project.

Coordinates

Artifacts should include the geographic coordinates of their origin in decimal and Museum of their current location.
