Enhance your YouTube browsing experience by eliminating distractions such as shorts and suggested videos with the Focused-You browser extension. This extension injects a CSS script to seamlessly hide unwanted content, allowing you to focus on the videos that matter most.
To utilize Focused-You, ensure your browser supports the :has CSS selector. It is compatible with:
- Chrome version 105 or above
- Edge version 105 or above
- Opera version 91 or above
- Firefox version 121 or above
- Download: Get the extension from GitHub by downloading the zip file or use
git cloneto clone the repository. - Unzip: Extract the downloaded file to a permanent location on your device.
- Browser Setup:
- For Chrome/Edge: Enable developer mode in the extensions settings.
- For Firefox: Enable developer mode in the add-ons settings.
- For Opera: Enable developer mode in the extensions manager.
- Load Extension:
