A web developer's version of Breakout arcade video game developed and published by Atari, Inc. and released in 1976. Break your way through each level of code to earn MVP status! Once in the scoreboard room, type in "candy" or "space" to access additional games created to reflect our development throughout the past three months at the Georgia Institute of Technology Full-Stack Development Bootcamp.
To install all dependencies, open your VS terminal at the root folder and run npm i .
Once dependencies and database is installed, run npm run develop in the terminal and follow route or use the url: https://suffer-game-gtbootcamp.herokuapp.com/
Agile project methodology, utilizing a Kanban board organized by Teagrin Forde. Teagrin also created the framework and file structure. Charles Morton and Hunter Padgett created the back-end database using MongoDB and Mongoose. Will Summerlin incorporated logic and game functionality for the Breakout and space-invaders extension. Teagrin and Hunter collaborated to ensure functioning authorization and authentication through JWT as well as smooth UI/UX responsive design. Charles and Hunter also worked together to implement state management and CRUD routes in React.
