Differences between key and accessor

From About - Database Folder:

• key: name of obsidian field metadata in your notes (inline not supported edition yet)
• accessor: is the key of the data. Must be unique

For example:

columns:
  Calification:
    input: select
    accessor: Calification
    label: Calification
    key: Calification

I still don't know what is the difference between them. Are they the same? Can I use a field with multiple words without underscore in there?

Hi @ooker777 , the documentation is not well maintained yet.

To the used framework called react-table the definition is ok. The accessor is used to the search option. The plugin use the key as unique identification too, so in our case could be the same (the difference is that the search use the accessor)

hmm. In my understanding, map is an instance of object, and keys with spaces are allowed in map. Why can't keys with spaces be allowed in map?

to show the words with spaces you have the label parameter, but I will write it down to check if it’s possible

no I want to have dataview inline fields to preserve the spaces, i.e. multiple words:: bla bla, so it needs to be key, not label
