I can confirm the issue still exists in the latest develop version. However, by going to object selection, I was able to remedy the issue by reselecting multiple land surfaces. It should be noted that I had to double click checkerboard to get it added to the park. I still believe this is a bug that could be fixed. Currently the error is unspecified when it blocks you from changing to ice land before you add more surface types. |

I'm not able to open the park right now, but I suspect this is a result of having multiple surface elements on a single tile. Did you paste the landscape in with the scenery manager plug-in or something? |

this park was made by a friend of mine who has never touched the tile inspector or used any plugin. They were experimenting with custom scenery, since they were new to sandbox parks, and managed to generate a unique bug that cannot be explained easily, but can be replicated consistently by simply opening the park file |

specific park generates single line unspecified error when trying to alter terrain surface "can't change land type..."

Steps to reproduce
open attached park, and try to change any landscape tile to ice/snow
I am not suggesting that a fix for this bug would necessarily mean preventing this error from occuring. I think it would simply be enough to specify to the user on the second line a definition of the particular error instead of the current unspecified error in order to consider this bug fixed and close the issue.
