At the moment of this issue, the model does not provide enough descriptive information on what caused an error when the dimension of the forcing is not matching the model domain.

Expected Behavior

I would expect the model could provide enough information when supplying a wrong forcing file to it, and the dimension is not matching the model domain.

Current Behavior

It throws a seg fault with no description.

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

Just provide a forcing file with a smaller dimension than your domain.
