If the nudgingParams.nc file does not jive with the Routelink, there is a silent failure.

Expected Behavior

A moaning, weeping, gnashing of teeth in the output files, somewhere.

Current Behavior

Silent, breezy complicity.

Possible Solution

Code in something noisy.
