Privacy-friendly VirusTotal frontend built with Python, Flask.

This is a privacy-friendly frontend for VirusTotal, a popular online virus scanning tool. The goal of this project is to provide a simple, user-friendly interface for searching file hashes, IP addresses, domains, and URLs for malware, while respecting users' privacy and keeping their data secure.

• No JavaScript code, only HTML and CSS
• There is no need for a VirusTotal API key to perform a search

• Python 3.6 or higher
• Flask

1. Clone this repository to your local machine using git clone https://github.com/MugoSquero/LibreTotal
2. Create a virtual environment and activate it using python3 -m venv env and then source env/bin/activate
3. Install the required dependencies using pip install -r requirements.txt
4. Run the development server using python main.py
5. The application should now be running at https://127.0.0.1:5000/
