After performing an action check, the action effects can be toggled on and off depending on the symbols generated by the roll. For example, if an action says "sususu You hit the target for +2 damage", if your roll generated at least three success symbols, you can click the effect to toggle it. Three success symbols will be subtracted from your total, and a check will be added to the end of the text to highlight the effect being toggled on.

Once you have selected all the effects you wish to activate, it is possible to trigger all the effects that have been selected. To trigger the effects, right-click on the chat message containing the roll, and click "Apply Toggled Effects". All the damages dealt, all the fatigue and stress suffered or recovered, all the critical wounds inflicted, etc., will be calculated and applied to the target (or to the acting character if relevant).
