Can you predict which customer will purchase again?

This was a private hackathon open to ALGERIA Data Cup participants.

Many shopping apps rely on customer retention to predict their earnings, design their marketing strategy and drive their business. Temtem One Shopping app is no different.

Being able to predict whether a customer will purchase again in the future is a great asset for e-commerce companies and doing so, will help Temtem improve it’s UX, it’s marketing strategy and make the whole purchasing experience better and faster.

The goal of this competition is to predict whether a customer will purchase again or not based on their purchase history in the Temtem shopping app from 1st of january (1/1/2021) up to (including) (15/02/2021) (around 45 days worth of data ). Your predictions will be then tested on real data from 15/02/2021 to 20/03/2021.
